Department for Civil Protection – Presidency of the Council of Ministers 2004

Edy supplied the Department for Civil protection of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers with 24 stations for mass decontamination deployable in Italy’s regional chief towns to support coordination and control initiatives aimed at handling NBCR risks (nuclear, bacteriologic, chemical, radiological) on a domestic level. The Department for Civil Protection of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers availed itself of EDY® srl’s services to optimise stations in view of the envisioned uses, make them easily employable as single units - as well as when the single one is used with one or more units -, increase the number of casualties that can be treated, and equip them with highly efficient auxiliary plants, inclusive of appropriate storage and haulage means.
